The course aims to provide students with an adequate theoretical and applying knowledge of the relationships with the environment in contemporary societies, improving their understanding through updated tools for analysis and the study of the main policies and regulations. This will allow us to observe the most significant problems in the interaction between anthropic activities, natural resources and ecosystems, the role of Institutions and their mediation between market and environment. Lectures contain large references to scenarios and concrete issues at the international, national, regional scales.

Oral mode. Particularly the exam will verify: (1) information and knowledge on the topics of the exam schedule. (2) Accuracy of language, in particular the ability to use a correct descriptive and interpretative language. (3) Ability to combine the theoretical models presented in the lessons with the processes and the empirical evidences of the current scenario. The final evaluation will be the overall result of these three skills.
