Scholarships
For more information, please visit the DSU Toscana website.
For other scholarship opportunities, please visit the UniFi websiteThe DSU Toscana accommodation service provides free housing for non-local students who have obtained a scholarship, granting them a place in university residences for a certain period of time. This support is designed for students whose residence is in a different town from their university, with a public transport commute exceeding one hour.
How to Apply
To apply for accommodation for the 2024-25 academic year, students need to fill out an online application. The deadline for master’s students changes each year, but it usually falls in early September. A valid Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica (DSU) for student financial aid is also required to proceed with the application.
Accommodation Allocation
Accommodation allocation usually starts from October, with subsequent offers based on bed availability. Allocated students will receive notifications in their personal portal, and acceptance must be confirmed following the provided instructions. Upon arrival, students need to bring valid identification, a residence permit (or its application receipt), and a refundable €250 security deposit paid via PagoPA.

ISEE
Students are placed into different fee bands based on their economic situation, which is assessed through the Indicatore della Situazione Economica Equivalente (ISEE) for university financial aid.
How to Obtain the ISEE
Students residing in Italy can request an ISEE for university benefits by submitting a Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica (DSU) at a CAF centre or through INPS online services. Keep in mind that only ISEE reports specifically for university support are accepted. For students living abroad (EU or non-EU), the ISEE can be obtained via DSU Toscana’s online ticketing system. The required documents are listed on the DSU Toscana portal, and the process takes up to 30 days.
Note: For new students receiving an international ISEE, paper enrolment is required using form MOD IM_01. Missing the ISEE deadline automatically places students in the highest fee band, or, for the first payment, in the mid-range band upon request.
Deadlines and Late Submissions
The ISEE application must be completed according to a deadline that changes each year, but that usually falls in late January. Late submissions are accepted but with a €100 fee. Continuing students who have already consented to ISEE access need only submit a new DSU by this date. Those who have not yet given consent must do so online to ensure accurate fee placement.
For more information regarding the ISEE, please visit the UniFi website.
