We are pleased to inform all students that Yannis Kallianos will begin teaching in our Master's Degree program as a visiting professor for the current academic year. Yannis will contribute to the course Urban Geography I: Theories & Methods with a module titled The Politics of Urban Infrastructure.
Yannis Kallianos is an anthropologist specializing in public space, urban infrastructure, waste, everyday life, grassroots politics, socio-political contestation, and imagination. He earned his PhD from the University of St Andrews and is currently affiliated with the Urban Institute at the University of Sheffield.
His visit is made possible thanks to the Progetto di Eccellenza of the SAGAS Department.
