We inform alla students that the call for applications for the 2025-2026 edition of the Percorso di Eccellenza sulle Eredità Culturali (PEsEC) has been published. This is part of the initiatives funded by the SAGAS Department's Excellence Fund.

The deadline for applications is very close: October 21 at 11 p.m.
The PEsEC is a specialization course targeting a selection of 14 students enrolled in the second year into one of the six master's degrees belonging to SAGAS, who have collected during the first year at least 48 credits with an average grade of 29 or more. Those among you who match these criteria are strongly encouraged to participate. Students who have acquired at least 42 ECTS credits with an average grade of 29 or higher may also apply. These students will be evaluated if the available positions for those who have obtained 48 ECTS credits are not sufficient to reach the minimum number of participants.
Attendance at the course is mandatory. At the end of the course, participants are requested to write a final essay on one of the topics presented and discussed. Upon successful completion, students will receive a prize of 1,000 euros.

The following documents have to be attached:
- Certificate of enrollment to the second year
- Transcript of records
- Passport or other government-issued ID
- Motivation letter (in pdf, signed): this is particularly important for the selection process.
A good understanding of Italian is required to participate. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their qualifications and an interview.
