We are pleased to inform all students that, in close connection with our Master’s Degree, the first edition of the Post-graduate Training Course “International Practitioners in the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage in Fragile Contexts” will take place in October at the SAGAS Department, in Florence.
The course offers advanced training for practitioners working in the field in contexts of armed conflict or emergency, as well as in post-conflict or post-emergency scenarios, with a specific focus on the protection and safeguarding of cultural heritage.
It consists of 60 hours of training delivered over 4 weeks (every Monday and Thursday). The enrollment fee is €250.
The course is open also to students currently enrolled in the first and second year of the Master’s Degree, and represents an important opportunity to specialize in the area of cultural heritage management. For those who wish to participate, regular teaching activities will be adjusted in order to facilitate attendance at both the training course and the Master’s classes.
Moreover, participation in the training course can be recognized as an internship activity (for a number of credits to be agreed with the Master’s Degree Coordinator).
