Class attendance and distance learning in the second semester (A.Y. 2021-2022)

The lessons of all the subjects of all University degree programs will be held in presence, in compliance with the safety protocols regarding spacing and tracking.

In order to attend a lecture in-class, you have first to register online and reserve a seat through the web application Kairos linked here. The seat must be reserved the week before the lesson you intend to attend. Reservations will be open from Monday at 12.00 am to Saturday 23.59 pm for lessons held the following week.

Please consider that seat reservation is mandatory. Otherwise, it won't be possible to access the building where lectures take place. A tutorial on how to reserve your seat in the classroom is available here (in Italian) and here (in English).

Once the reservation is made, a QRCode to access the classroom will be received by email. The QRCode can be also downloaded from the qraccess.unifi.it application, from where you can also download the QRAccess app for your smartphone.

Please note that, from September 1st, the Green Pass is mandatory to access university buildings and classrooms.

To allow all students to participate in the lessons, online classes will be maintained all along the first semester and all lectures will also be streamed through the Cisco Webex platform.

A tutorial on how to attend online classes was issued by the School of Humanities and Education along with other important information, regulations and FAQs concerning teaching activities restarting.

The tutorial on how to attend online classes is available here (in Italian) and here (in English).

Please consider that class attendance is possible only through the student's Moodle platform integrated with Webex application. To access the MOODLE platform and then the online lessons with WEBEX it is essential to have a Unifi SERIAL NUMBER and PASSWORD.

Full information on class attendance in the first semester are available on the School of Humanities and Education website (in Italian only).

IMPORTANT: attendance to the interdisciplinary seminar on "Understanding the urban" is an exception to the above. In order to attend the seminar, there's no need to reserve the seat in the classroom through the kairos web application. A list of names of attending students will be provided to the reception at the entrance of via Capponi 9. Information on how to attend online - for those who can't attend in presence - will be provided before the seminar starts.
